Job description

Role purpose

  • Gain market insights through different study and transform those into new business opportunities.
  • Lead cross functional projects for successful launch of NPI’s.
  • Successful implementation of NPI business case.

Accountabilities

  • Own the management of defined market research projects so as to ensure that the goals of the company are met and the projects are delivered to time.
  • Ensure that relationships with key agency contacts are managed optimally and that Syngenta is receiving best value. Seek to develop the agencies and methods of research that are undertaken so as to always innovate the ways in which we research the market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate market information and utilize both primary and secondary data to deliver actionable market insights.
  • Be accountable for New product introduction project planning, execution, scheduling, functionality, and quality.
  • Work close with Portfolio Manager (Brand Manager) to Deliver NPI business result as per the business case.
  • Look after the NPI for certain times before handling over to Portfolio Manager.
  • Leverage project governance and escalation process as needed to meet project KPIs
  • Facilitate the development, implementation and critical decision making of CP portfolio direction through appropriate forums such as NPI, PLT and CLT
  • Involve in regional projects through proper stakeholder management in very close cooperation with Global, Region and Country Management Teams.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities :

 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on marketing experience ; preferably in a FMCG/Creative agencies/Telco/ relevant fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS or similar), databases and MS Office
  • Proven experience in brand marketing or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the development of business strategies.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Additional Information

Willing to travel frequently.
