Role purpose

Be key reference and be responsible for the development of CP & Bio-stimulants products in a selected crop.

  • Deliver Sales Budget for the assigned Market Crop.
  • Effective collaboration with local partners team to ensure successful implementation of Campaigns & Initiatives
  • Establish high customer intimacy through understanding growers & channel needs and supporting customers to increase demand for Syngenta solutions
  • Provide regular field reports to ensure on-time competition monitoring & build market intelligence, systematic recording of customer visits in SFDC & contribute to grower segmentation & influencers reporting

Accountabilities

Operational responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective implementation of Marketing agreements plan with partners.
  • Generate demand with approx. 80% time dedicated on pull activities aligned to Key Account Plan & execution of campaigns (e.g., field activities, F2F with Farmers, interactions with influencers)
  • Ensure effective translation of the campaigns & selected initiatives in the implementation of pull activities with Key Accounts to support the realization of targets
  • Build solid & professional relationships based on recognized expertise & trust with partners and stakeholders
  • Regular reporting in prescribed format about local situation incl. market environment
  • Collect and analyze market information & share to feed the Market Intelligence data base (e.g., Salesforce.com, portfolio insights, I-Plan updates)
  • Identify areas for growth & provide innovative alternatives with business focus to contribute to the evolution for the selected Crop.
  • Develop innovative campaign with Digital solution & a strong technical and agronomical acumen
  • Active participation in the E2E Projects & must win battles (MBW).

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical Knowledge:

  • Min. 10 years of experience working in Ag business in Algeria
  • Crop agronomy, crop nutrition and pest control practices
  • Marketing, Development, Sales
  • KA management
  • Agriculture markets, channel, GTM approaches
  • New Product Introduction
  • Stewardship, safe use and operator safety
