Operational Excellence

  • Strategic Agenda
    • Ensure the consistency of key initiatives across BA ME and across the Functional representatives
    • Provide direction and lead the commercial target setting process, 5-year planning
    • Work closely with Marketing to ensure alignment with strategic agenda
  • Support  in yearly as well as monthly operational commercial target setting through deeper understanding of upsides, downsides and initiatives
    • Ensure the systematic process leads Commercial Teams to understand upsides and downsides drivers
    • Monitor actions to increase the likelihood for sales upsides achievement or downsides mitigations
  • Initiate and coordinate the yearly amendment of Commercial Policy to leverage discounts and rebates to best return. Apply consistently value and market based pricing
  • Lead the 5y plan process across the BA
  • Support the Portfolio cycle
  • Continued improvement of the sales monitoring  process through regular review of business performance against sales and MS targets as well as the required resources
  • Lead/Participate in selected commercial projects and phases such as analysis, design and/or implementation
  • Continues improvement and active management of customer service levels across markets

Drive results

  • Translate business imperatives into concrete and tangible strategic intents and define Must-Wins, Tactics  and accountabilities to support execution
  • Set quantitative and qualitative KPI’s and accountabilities
  • Systematic follow up of actions during SOP and Management meetings
  • Weekly and monthly sales and forecast tracking supporting Finance

Leadership

  • Apply new Syngenta Leadership model elements while managing across boundaries within BA Markets, Business Partners and other remote functions to strive for continued efficiency  improvements
  • Ensure the key processes as defined in our set up are implemented and enforced
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in a compliant way and in accordance with the Code of Conduct and other internal policies
  • Actively contribute to the overall growth acceleration in BA Middle East Markets through discipline and collaborative ways of working.

Qualifications

 

  • Critical knowledge and experience
    • BA or MA in finance / economics / business administration
    • 3-5 years of experience in finance, project management
    • Excellent MS excel skills
    • Effective planning and project management experience
    • English language a must,

 

  • Critical technical, professional and leadership capabilities
    • Understands business concepts, analyses figure, tackles many competing priorities
    • Displays strong leadership and ability to drive projects and changes
    • Has the ability to understand and assimilate different markets and cultures
    • Works collaboratively
    • Communicates with impact
    • Strong at judgement
    • Result-orientated
    • Shows openness to criticism and in talking about shortcomings; able to admit mistakes and gain insights from experience
