The role purpose is to develop and manage Garden Control, PPM, Home Pest businesses by delivering innovative solutions and creating new markets for Syngenta Professional Solutions (SPS) in Ukraine and Central European countries (Croatia, Slovenia & Czech Republic).

Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver 5-year plan input for the territory and manage the delivery of country business plans & budget plans (sales, marketing & financial) and obtain support and agreement from the Central and East Europe and EAME SPS teams
  • Identify trends in market, competitive and customer dynamics and reflect the data in sales plans & strategy
  • Take responsibility for the P&L for SPS in the above mentioned countries - meeting annual sales and profitability targets
  • Determine territory / country priorities and focus resources to deliver the business plan, ensuring correct and cost-efficient resourcing of business strategies/ campaigns and driving the growth agenda
  • Define a sales strategy and establish appropriate Go-to-Market models that drive sales and market share growth
  • Work closely with the marketing and technical team to implement launch plans and activities to deliver successful business and product launches, support the development & implementation of customer solutions and build the Syngenta brand
  • Bring new innovation to the market working with the regional EAME and Central & East Europe SPS team
  • Lead the development of a team with appropriate skills in place to deliver strong distributor/partner/customer working relationships

Qualifications

  • Experience within management roles in sales and/or marketing in the agribusiness or FMCG 
  • Experience in business development/management with P&L responsibility
  • Strategy development and implementation
  • Demonstrable experiencу in Key Account Management and understands “Go to Market” model development
  • Demonstrable success in developing and managing business and delivering successful launches
  • Ability to build relationships at the senior level with customers and internal stakeholders with strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • People and business management skills across different functions and different businesses
  • Capability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams with experience of change management
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Flexibility in terms of significant travelling 
  • Fluent English
