Purpose

  • To identify, lead and manage SPS business opportunities with focus on PPM and Home Pest in the West East Europe territory (Poland, Slovakia, CZ, Hungary, Baltics) and creating new markets for SPS East Europe business
  • To define a strategy and establish appropriate Go-to-Market models by driving and coordinating commercial portfolio, brand, service and offer strategies for Pest Control business on the territory
  • To grow commercial sales across the West East Europe territory
  • To take a leading role in the development of the strong PPM and Home Pest portfolio on the territory
  • To build the Syngenta brand awareness in PPM, represent the business to the industry and be the face of Syngenta
  • To bring new innovation to the market working with the regional EAME and East Europe team
  • Align with local CP organization and drive business in countries, where no SPS business is present

Accountabilities

  • To grow the PPM sales in West East territory
  • Develop 5-year plan numbers for PPM and Home Pest (portfolio, marketing & financial data) and obtain support and agreement from Business Manager CE, Business Manager WE, Commercial Head East Europe in alignment with the territory SPS strategies
  • Identify trends in market, competitive and customer dynamics and reflect data iPlan
  • Develop a 1-2 year tactical campaign plans for the relevant SPS segments & related portfolio fitting local needs to deliver budgeted portfolio & gross profit
  • To support produce registration, development, and launch
  • Set campaign objectives and closely work with Marketing and Technical managers on implementation
  • Define and achieve budget, market share and financial targets
  • Ensure correct and cost-efficient resourcing of portfolio strategies/ campaign plan

Qualifications

  • Experience of business development
  • Knowledge in agribusiness markets, pest control business and customer needs
  • Knowledge >5 years in marketing and/ or business management (e.g. sales, marketing, product development & technical support)
  • Knowledge in Key Account- and brand/ portfolio management
  • Ability to influence indirect relationships throughout business
  • Record of successful management of people/ processes/ territories or regions
