Role Purpose:

To perform Back Office Treasury Operations activities across the Americas:

Ensure administration of bank accounts and systems accesses/approvals rights are accordingly to controls.

Carry out the bank mandates management, working closely to Legal team and banks.

Responsible for Corporate Cards administration, ensuring that we are delivering a good service for all our employees and within our KPIs.

Supporting the others sub-areas in Treasury Ops related to banks documentation, audit requests, hedges controls and accounting needs.

Provide full support to general administrative tasks related to our bank’s demands.

Pursue automation and standardization opportunities for better efficiency in the day-to-day tasks and with the banks that Syngenta works with.

 

Responsibilities

Corporate Cards administration – Daily manage new tickets coming from employees with problems with their corporate cards.

Bank mandates management – Ensure we keep power of attorneys and bank accesses up to date and well controlled.

Hedge controls – Responsible of financial compliance controls related to derivatives that Syngenta operates in the region.

Audit – Participation in Treasury related audit requests, continuous improvement in WoW and ensuring all controls are well documented.

Bank accounts and accesses – Maintenance of bank account and accesses database.

General administrative tasks – Full support to deliver documentation requested by the banks that Syngenta works with.

It is indispensable for this position:

Advanced student or graduate accountant or management bachelor (mandatory)

Working experience 2+ years in Treasury or other Finance areas (mandatory)

Intermediate level of English(mandatory)

Advanced Excel knowledge (mandatory)

PowerBi, VBA and database language knowledge a plus

Results orientated

Reliable communicator and strong organizational skills

Release potential and promote teamwork

Learning agility, continuous improvement mindset
