AMEA Product Safety Project/Indication Manager

Job description

Location - Flexible within AMEA region

Role purpose

  • Be the single point of contact on specific new AIs or PLCM indications on the regional level, managing deliverables and connecting project and science plans with Science Delivery functions.
  • Be the Product Safety representative within as well as outside Product Safety, such as new AIs PLTs, MPTs and PSTs, delivering regional inputs and reaching out to regional tehnical experts when technical inputs are needed.
  • Be the focal point for internal risk assessment for project managers and regulatroy colleagues.
  • Ensure the delivery of the internal risk assessments based on the agreed ways of working and timelines.
  • Organize and develop digital tool to facilitate the communication and tracking of all requests/work needed from Product Safety, such as internal risk assessments, Data Call-Ins, statements, etc.
  • Extract and digitilize information from available requests to Product Safety, such as dashboards and graphs.
  • Provide the Environemental, Dietary and Non-Dietary (Operator Exposure) risk assessments input into project teams.

Accountability 

  • Representing AMEA Product Safety in diverse meetings regarding New AIs and PLCM.
  • Ensuring proper communication about science plan both within the region as well as with global.
  • Ensuring Product Safety programme is planned and executed effectively for assigned regional projects (in charge of governance and stakeholder management).
  • Serving as the link with project and technical experts from Science Delivery.
  • Developing timelines, communicating risks and issues to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a method to extract information from internal systems to provide it in a way that can be used for decision-making about workload assignment within the team.

Develop a user-friendly concept to store and retrieve the collected information.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Capable of advocating technically robust positions for projects
  • Awareness of techno-regulatory landscap
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work within a team

 Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • Experience of leading and/or working within multi-disciplinary project teams, and managing high work demands
  • A proven track record of project leadership and management
  • Knowledge of the principles of environmental and operator exposure and risk assessment in the agrochemical/pesticide industry
