AMEA Order Management Specialist

Role purpose

The role of the AMEA Order Management specialist will be to ensure daily management of order processing for a cluster of countries within the region, mostly to serve Syngenta’s 3rd party business. It involves (hub) order management process activities to be carried out in SAP system for Syngenta orders. This role will also work hand in hand with wider regional logistics team, country import/export team as well as oversee any escalation from shared service team for countries in scope

Accountabilities:

• Liaison with country teams to process and/or coordinate the end-to-end order flow (including hubbing order mgmt. for certain flows)
• Creation of sales and purchase orders in system
• Delivery creation and control with respective logistics teams in export country, plant or warehouse
• Follow-up and coordination of relevant shipping information / documentation with export country, plant or warehouse
• Hub order management activities (goods receipt, goods issue, invoice) where applicable
• Issue of additional documentation (e.g. COO, COA) in compliance with country regulations
• Coordination of escalations from shared service team for countries in scope with respective stakeholders in regional supply chain operations team and/or country supply teams
• Review of order management performance of shared service team and coordination of continuous improvement initiatives on behalf of logistics & order management team

Critical Experience: 

• 3-5 years professional experience in order management and customer service
• Successful track record managing the delivery of outsourced services
• Used to work in a complex, international and cross-functional business environment
• Proactive and passionate about continuous improvement
• Self-motivated, sense of urgency, balanced, with sense of priorities
• Analytical skills

Critical Knowledge: 

• Good knowledge of processes linked to order management & customer service (e.g. logistics, customs, import/export).
• Solid command of SAP SD/MM modules and MS office\.
• Good experience in process management and shared service center coordination.
• International logistics & import/export experience would be a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), any additional language would be a plus.
