AMEA FC Seeds Commercial Excellence Lead

Job description

  • Define priorities in the Commercial Excellence space across AMEA FC business & ensure these are delivered & tracked to measure impact of the CE initiatives.
  • To drive a continuous improvement mindset, aligned with business needs in a changing environment.
  • Co-develop and align on ‘future-ready’ Commercial Excellence concepts for the CUs incl.  GTM & New Business Models, Capabilities & Resourcing, Data & Customer insights and Sales effectiveness.
  • Leverage Global Commercial Excellence team(s) and Digital teams to drive CUs towards these aligned ‘future-ready’ Commercial Excellence concepts.
  • Own the Business Intelligence/Insights data capture & strategy taking hands on approach to creating high level of visibility of both internal and external data – driving us to better data driven decision making.
  • Plan marketing & sales capability improvement plans across AMEA to align with future farmer needs and CX.
  • Working in close collaboration with Portfolio teams design the pricing strategy & tools for pricing analysis across AMEA, leveraging transparent data to drive this approach.

Accountabilities

  • Lead capabilities development and processes enhancement for FC Seeds, leveraging common platforms & tools (e.g. MaSE & Learning Edge).
  • Lead and manage sales and marketing capability improvements & sales SIP design to align with strategy and drive performance of our commercial teams.
  • Lead and manage AMEA FC Seeds business & market intelligence – ensuring we are using to drive decisions.  Design and track KPIs.
  • Lead and manage sales improvement program across AMEA FC Seeds region working with countries to design SIPs aligned with our strategy driving the wanted sales behaviours in countries.
  • Design dashboards & create data visibility & transparency both with internal and external data sources to drive better decisions.
  • Leverage digital tools to enable the above including AI – driving towards full digitization of our key data sets.
  • Hands-on approach to drive to develop commercial enabling platforms we need to bring data to support business decisions.
  • Gather and evaluate relevant market and competitor information to review market position and determine threats, determine new opportunities and trends.
  • Drive our journey in AMEA FC Seeds from a product-focused approach to one where our Customer Experience is our key differentiator.
  • Build a clear vision of how AI technology can become a key part of our data driven decision making process.
  • Initiate where needed GTM reviews in countries, leading country teams to re-assess and support courageous decisions/changes where the data leads.
  • Lead the pricing strategy across our region, working in close collaboration with portfolio and country teams.
  • Bring new pricing tools to the country teams developing and maintaining pricing policies and guidelines ensuring full compliance.
  • Ensure strong connection with the global & country (where relevant) commercial excellence teams - being a thought leader in this team strongly contributing to the success of Commercial Excellence community

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams by influence.
  • Systemic approach across departments.
  • Strong data literacy skills & practical ability to utilise data systems including Power BI, Quik.
  • 10+ year experience in agribusiness preferably in a marketing, sales or commercial excellence role.
  • Good knowledge of marketing, sales & Data management in agricultural background.
  • Practical problem solver & project management experience.
  • Proficient in English.
