Job description

Syngenta Flowers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Key Account Manager to join our team in Poland. This role is crucial in developing and managing relationships with key retail accounts, promoting our portfolio, and driving sales growth in the Polish market.

Location: Poland (preferably central region)

Work format: Remote or hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key retail accounts (retail chains, DIY stores, garden centers)
  • Implement effective Go-To-Market models and campaign plans to grow and maximize retail business Negotiate actions with retailers based on Syngenta Flowers varieties and generate retail orders from retail suppliers
  • Define and implement retail sales & marketing strategies and development plans for the flowers business in Poland, aligning with company strategies
  • Align with the local Polish Flowers organization and establish strong cooperation with Polish Sales Representatives, Technical Specialists, Marketing Department, and Product Managers to promote Syngenta Genetics to retailers
  • Collaborate with Polish trade press to promote Syngenta Genetics and increase sales in the Polish market through targeted marketing activities
  • Manage internal marketing activities, including catalogs, advertisements, social media, etc.
  • Represent Syngenta Flowers at industry meetings and retail conferences

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience within agriculture industry or FMCG industry with significant experience in marketing and sales
  • Demonstrable experience in Key Account Management and understanding of "Go to Market" model development
  • Deep understanding of category management, product positioning, and channel approach
  • Proven success in developing and managing portfolios and delivering successful product launches
  • Access to a broad retail network in Poland (retail chains, DIY stores, garden centers) would be beneficial
  • Ability to build relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders
  • Strong negotiating, communication, and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work with a high degree of autonomy
