We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to provide a timely, positive, and effective service to the multi-disciplinary teams based at the Manchester Office. You will be part of a small team, providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site. This is a dynamic and varied role which provides excellent customer service both internally and externally, to multiple stakeholders.
The role will include administrative support, event management and communications, interfacing with colleagues within the Manchester office and in other global locations. Other accountabilities include (but are not limited to);
- Supporting the smooth running of site functions
- Ensuring effective site communication, using various collaboration tools including emails, Teams, Yammer
- Raising accurate purchase orders, being aware of relevant information needed to create orders successfully.
- To be responsible for the tidiness and restocking of stationery for the site, including meeting rooms
- On request to arrange meetings and events, including booking venues, transport and catering, and keeping accurate records.
- Supporting with onboarding process for New Starters.
Skillset required for the role
- Able to develop good working relationships with the community in Manchester and quickly become familiar with activities where they can provide effective support
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Share point, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Commitment to providing a responsive and helpful service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, e.g., support with onboarding new starters, arranging social events and meetings.
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
- Experience in creating communications and sharing via social media platforms, e.g., Yammer, LinkedIn would be an advantage
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

Based in Didsbury, Manchester. This is a hybrid working role, with minimum three days in the Office.
