Tax Junior Analyst

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Finance Operations is seeking a Tax Junior Analyst in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Accountabilities 

• Assist in Preparation of Tax Returns drafts (WHT and VAT): tax payments, fillings, certifications, etc.
• Tax Accounting and Reporting: working papers, WHT and VAT reconciliations, etc.
• Assist in Preparation of Direct tax.
• Assistance of 3rd party requirements (vendors, customers, etc.)
• Assistance on the elaboration of supporting documentation for compliance purposes.
• Actively communication with other departments
• Reconciling balance sheet ledgers to sub-ledgers or external information.

Required  

• 1-2 years of experience in multinational environment or Big 4 related to Taxes functions.
• Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background.
• English: intermediate level
• MS Office: intermediate level
• Track record of compliance culture maintenance and enforcement.
• Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization.
• Good communication skills.

Desired

• Experience with ERP systems desired (SAP experience is preferred).
