Job description

To support this mission, LATAM Syngenta’s Corporate Finance is seeking a Corporate Finance Coordinator South in Ciudad de Buenos Aires; Argentina. This role coordinate Lead financial operations with focus on financial risk management and compliance statutory, and tax requirements while strengthening internal controls and optimizing processes. Coordinate cross-functional finance projects to prevent risks and ensure compliance, driving continuous improvement in financial operations.

Accountabilities 

  • Coordinate Financial Compliance Agenda for the Commercial Unit by monitoring internal control risks, coordinating fraud risk assessments, and supporting legal investigations while ensuring alignment with local and Group policies.
  • Support compliance awareness through education initiatives, manage Key Risk Indicators, and oversee Segregation of Duties implementations while maintaining Letter of Assurance processes and DoA updates.
  • Oversee Commercial Unit tax activities and monitor regulatory changes in collaboration with the local Tax team, ensuring compliance with key tax laws and escalating potential impacts from new projects or business changes.
  • Coordinate with AFO to maintain balance sheet integrity and provide statutory oversight to Board of Directors through financial statement reviews, IFRS/local reconciliations, and external auditor relationships.
  • Manage local financial statement submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required  

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Financial and risk management background
  • Finance and risk management (5 years). SAP knowledge (reports and security)
  • Expertise to support compliance with statutory requirements, Strong Technical Knowledge on Stats, Tax, finance, accounting & E2E process understanding.
  • Risk Mindset: close to Business, proactive risks identification & mitigation. Be capable to detect internal control gaps and proposing robust mitigations and follow up.
  • Pro-active approach, Taking ownership and independent working
  • Effective influencer and collaborator.
  • Advanced knowledge of English
