Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder mapping and formulate PR and Communication Strategy around the engagements with key stakeholders.
  • Create PR and Communication Strategy in line with regional communication guidelines, keeping country context in mind.
  • Engage with print and electronic media proactively to achieve PR coverage to increase corporate brand value.
  • Create visibility and recognition for the organization through a strong presence on different national platforms (industry, academia, and award-giving organizations).
  • Give advertisements to influential media/associations to increase visibility.
  • Create success stories of farmers and Syngenta Value Added Services and spread them across the board.
  • Increase corporate and employment brand value through impactful posts on Syngenta Global LinkedIn.
  • Draft MOUs/Agreements for collaborating with concerned stakeholders.
  • Write letters to associations and influential chambers to influence policies.
  • Create articles on burning issues and publish in influential print and online media.
  • Ensure media placements - interviews in print, digital, and electronic media.
  • Create AV on events/milestones.
  • Create Sustainability action plan and undertake projects having qualitative and quantitative impacts and share sustainability impacts with key stakeholders through appropriate media.
  • Lead sustainability projects: develop training materials and monitor impact & collaborate with local partners, Govt stakeholders for program success.
  • Project proposal, impacts, and content development: develop sustainability project proposals, conduct impact assessments, and create content & design metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress: Establish KPIs and collect relevant data, prepare regular sustainability performance reports & ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable farming practices: Engage with farmers, communities, and government agencies, organize workshops and field demonstrations & build rapport with NGOs and chambers of commerce & industries.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements: Graduation in Mass Communication, Marketing, Agricultural Science.

Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum 7 plus years of hands-on experience in Creating and executing Communication Strategy.
  • Handling print, and electronic media and handling journalists.
  • Creating articles, success stories, and advertorials.
  • Increasing corporate brand value.
  • Experience in agro-input industry will be encouraged.

Additional Information

Must be able to travel frequently.
