Warehouse Technician

You will help shape the future of agriculture by:
Picking and transporting all seed to specified area is identified accurately and checked against production order.

Accountabilities  

• Work in conditioning, treating packaging, or other areas to meet facility needs
• Picking and transporting vegetables seeds to specified area according to production orders
• Fill all orders per production order instruction
• Ensure all clean-downs and changeovers are done correctly to eliminate any product mixture
• Assist in harvest and seed washing/drying activities during harvest season
• Strict adherence to HSE protocols and all corporate policies and processes
• Physical inventory and seed return operations
• Assist with treater-dryer and seed counter line as needed
• Engage with management for order room operation
• Daily forklift operations
• Ship orders Fedex and Ups

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Must be able and willing to be forklift certified, required
• Must have a valid, good standing driver’s license
• Individual must be authorized to work in the United States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future 
• Basic Computer skills needed (treat room, seed counter, ups and FedEx

• Ability to work in cold, hot, and dusty conditions; work with seed treatment
• Ability to be on your feet for a majority of the day; frequent standing and walking including climbing stairs and ladders; frequent bending and stooping
• Able to wear applicable PPE
• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more
