Veg P&S Global Data Scientist – Modeling and Analytics

Into action

In this role you will set-up advanced analytical software within the Crop Planning team which reduces the time for analyses and modeling. Future assist in projects within the P&S departments to optimize the overall Supply Chain Network Design in collaboration with Supply Chain, Production, Processing, Quality, Logistics and Planning

The challenge

As the Data Scientist, you will take the lead in the delivery of the Syngenta modeling tool that assess our overall footprint and network design in a way that creates business value and meet the needs of ever evolving markets. You will mainly work with the supply chain, logistics and planning departments as well as other key stakeholders in assessing the needs and requirements. You will train the different users, so they have the required knowledge and skills to deploy the SC crop modeling tool.


Qualifications

Your profile

You have a master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or you gained this knowledge through minimum 5 years of relevant experience. An educational background in Supply Chain Strategy is an advantage.  
You have strong leadership skills, are a motivated communicator, analytical, pro-active and able to establish outstanding international working relations. You are stress tolerant and capable to deal with delicate and/or complex issues. Existing experience with Coupa Supply Chain Design & Planning is a strong advantage.
