Job description

Role Purpose:

Value Business Analyst is a custodian of data who should drive analytics and data driven decisions and manage the stakeholders, cross function & vendors for Pan India

Accountabilities

Business accountabilities

General Accountabilities:

  • Execute commercial analytics focusing on pricing strategies and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
  • Support IP and Finance Controller to drive, implementation of kind Scheme and cross function team.
  • Drive virtual fortnightly call with Divisions & Stakeholders along with Portfolio lead
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports using Excel and Power BI to provide actionable business insights
  • Create impactful presentations to effectively communicate findings to various stakeholders
  • Conduct monthly forecasting analysis and provide strategic recommendations
  • Monitor and report on supply chain metrics and inventory management
  • Liaise with field teams to gather critical market data, including price lists and product specifications
  • Manage purchase order processing and vendor relationships
  • Drive Sumridhi and other Digital initiatives.
  • Ad hoc processes.

Analytics

  • Sales liquidation and commercials: Tracking and sharing with the Division Team
  • Rebate analysis and provisions along with Finance Controller
  • Commercials (Sales, liquidation, collections)
  • Data insights and productivity analysis from tools such as Saksham, SFDC, DMS Channel Performance, Campaign performance
  • Any other division specific data

Vendor management as per the Kind Scheme operated from HO

  • Identify and maintain relation with local Vendors
  • Ensure Vendor meets Syngenta Standards 
  • Ensure timely contracts & payments

Admin

  • Capturing minutes of the meetings
  • Close coordination with the NVM
  • Tracking Performance against the agreed actions

KPIs

  • Timely delivery of data
  • Accuracy of Analytics
  • Presentation as per requirement
  • Timely payments to vendors

  • Sales and Marketing principles, particularly around campaign management and marketing communications
  • Understanding of agri and rural marketing concepts and methods.
  • Proven leadership skills and line management experience
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs, structure and business drivers

  • Coordination across functions, with sales teams
  • Influencing capability at country and Division leadership level
  • Handling pressure of multiple campaigns in various regions of the division

  • Achievement of business objectives of campaigns, and of the Division
  • Quality of campaign management and execution. Understanding and delivery by the sales team
