We are currently seeking a highly motivated Treasury Operations Analyst to join our Group Finance & Treasury Team and support in the following key areas:

  • Ensure proper settlement, documentation and recording of financial transactions
  • Support in a wide range of Treasury related administrative and operative tasks contributing to smooth daily operations

Your responsibilities:

  • Daily validation and approval of currency and funding transactions dealt by front office
  • Confirmation of transactions with external counterparties
  • Daily reconciliation of currency positions of TRS vehicles to ensure no uncovered exposures
  • Daily review and resolution of outstanding transactions and reconciliations
  • Internal approval and settlement of all trades
  • All Treasury payments
  • Payment netting confirmations for FX deals
  • Investigations
  • Account transfers
  • Settlement of weekly CSA positions
  • Supporting YE and interim audits
  • Maintenance of bank mandates and settlement instructions
  • Identification and remediation of any control failures and ensure compliance with Treasury Controls
  • Counterparty SSI maintenance in TMS and ebanking systems
  • Back Office testing in TMS projects
  • User administration of internet banking tools for Syngenta affiliates
  • Contact to banks and Syngenta affiliates
  • Support Inhouse Bank Administration and various treasury related projects

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

  • University degree or equivalent in finance or business economics, accounting knowledge
  • 2 to 5 years working experience in treasury back office
  • Good organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • Computer savvy and willingness to learn Syngenta financial systems
  • Experience working with treasury management systems (e.g. Quantum or SAP TRM) is desirable
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Good team player
