As a Trade Credit Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Treasury management;
  • Credit Risk Management – CP and SE;
  • Trade Working Capital Management – CP and SE;
  • New Market Business Finance Partnering; and
  • Implementation of Financial Instruments/Solutions

Accountabilities:

Treasury:

  • Manage local banking relationships with banks and to ensure banks respond to SYN business requirements
  • Main escalation/contact point for issue resolution with banks – connecting with Regional Treasury team and the banks’ Regional Relationship Manager (RMs)
  • Propose and work with banks to manage banking access and payment access / Work with ID Legal Counsel to get BoD resolutions approved
  • Manage cashflow together with Regional/Global Treasury and work with banks to place time deposit to maximize interest income (how much to deposit, how long to deposit and with which bank)
  • Restructure the cash payment and cash collection set up in Indonesia to cope with the new business model

Credit Risk Management

  • Review and proposed for bad debt provision each month – a key KPI
  • Assess credit limit to be provided to trade customers for both CP and SE and continuously monitor credit risks customers
  • Drive credit policies and compliance as the chair of the Country Credit Committee together with Finance Head and General Manager
  • Monitors and pro-actively reduce risk of bad debts by supporting business to manage collections
  • Business partner with Sales Heads (CP and SE) and Business Controllers (CP and SE) to implement credit related commercial policies to drive sales

Trade working capital management 

  • Pro-actively manage trade working capital (Inventory and Net Accounts Receivables) together with Finance business controllers to deliver: Inventory Budget; and Net Accounts Receivables to Sales ratio budget
  • Monthly reporting of quarter end and full year forecast to the Regional Controlling team
  • Drive early collection from key customers and against trade off of providing early payment discount

New Market Finance Business Partner:

  • Manage End-to-End finance business partnering for new markets to develop new business models

Drive implementation of Financial Instruments/Solutions

  • Proactively work with business and Finance business controllers to explore and implement financial instruments/solutions that will benefit the business
  • Work with Finance Head and Sales Head leads to implement dealer and retailer financing and other FiSo initiatives in the new Indonesia Agri Eco system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree specialized in Finance/Accounting
  • Have in total 7+ experiences with minimum 2+ years working in Big 4 Accounting Firm
  • Proven success working across different countries
  • Demonstrable understanding of financial planning, monitoring and reporting process
  • Experience of developing and optimizing accounting and planning applications is an advantage
  • Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • People skills and proactive
  • Stakeholder Management ability
  • Experience in SAP
  • Proficient in English
