Lead and supervise the Sales Team effectively and efficiently in Territory.

  • Build excellent sales team, efficiency sales promoters management
  • Manages and accountable for the success of all Sales Projects.
  • Ownership of Sales Process in territory (Lead, Apply, Guide, Implement and Audit)
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Communicate and adopt ‘best practices” – sales & marketing in Territory.
  • Drive sales excellence and customer focus
  • Clearly define the “work flow” process of the Sales Team in Territory.

Develop and manages an effective distribution channel strategy in Territory.

  • Develop effective partnership / alliances with all level of the value chain (farmers, key influences, retailers, dealers) to maximize market coverage and customers access, and to generate optimum sales revenue.
  • Manages Dealers and Retailers
  • Merchandizing product at retailers, dealers, etc.
  • Complain Handling Management
  • On-time Collection / Credit Policy

  • Manages Dealer/Retailers Agreement
  • Pricing / Commercial Policy
  • Inventory management (end user to Dealers)
  • Merchandizing product at retailers, dealers outlets, etc.
  • Complain Handling Management
  • On-time Collection / Credit Policy

Gather, Analyze and Communicate Market Place Information

  • Regular and accurate update on market size, opportunities, business environment, competitive information, customers etc. to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Customer Database / Profile Management

Demand Creation

  • Lead and supervise the effective implementation of demand creation activities
  • Field Promotion (Farmers / Dealers meeting, Field Demos, Sales Promotion Programs, Customers and end users’ seminar)
  • Provide consultancy and technical support
  • Contribute to effective customer service activities
  • Effectively utilize marketing communication aids.

Audit of Market Place Performance against Sales Plan

  • Track and use key sales & marketing matrics
  • Market share, customer service, retention, satisfaction, customer complain, etc.
  • Drive improvement in demand forecast accuracy

Qualifications

  • The position requires good technical and sales background in agriculture. A basic degree is essential
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales of agricultural products
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill is important in handling different types of customers
  • Advanced supervisory skill is essential
  • Fluently in English
