ROLE PURPOSE  

  • Support delivery of country Budget through effective demand creation based on agreed pull targets for the assigned Region without creating unsustainable channel stock.
  • Ensure, Develop, and support   growers, retailers, and dealers to create such a demand that the country sales targets are achieved.
  • Convince growers to use the Syngenta solutions, then convince the dealers and retailers that there is enough demand from their farmers to order the Syngenta products to the National Distributors
  • Maintain a strong network from channel to growers to be the first point of contact for market intelligence in the assigned Region.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead region to achieve business targets and review pull plan performance against KPI’s.
  • Create demand: approx. 80% time is focused on generating leads:  Typical time split for the TCS is: 50% visiting retailers & dealers in the market, 30% visiting growers in the fields, 10% in demo trials and visits and 10% for administrative planning.
  • Report all his activities through SFDC and trip reports.
  • Build solid and professional relationship based on recognized expertise and trust with relevant stakeholders
  • Proactively support marketing activities, campaigns & new product introduction process.
  • Collect all relevant market information and share it via trip reports and SFDC
  • Constantly evaluate customer’s performance with the KAMs, Sales Development Head & Head of Sales and decide on adaptation when needed.
  •  Identifies areas for growth and makes clear, innovative, and bold choices in terms of business focus.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

Critical Experience and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of sales practices with strong Sales experience
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis
  • Understanding of competitive environment
  • General cropping practices, agriculture technology
  • Perfectly understand the characteristics and the features of each product
  • Arabic, English a plus.
