Job description

Direct business accountability

 

  • Create demand: approx. 80% time is focused on generating pull (e.g. F2F to farmers, retailers’ distributors’)
  • Support campaigns, launches and demos in the relevant provinces
  • Proactively support the new product introduction process
  • Provide first hand technical support to Farmers incl. Farmer field visits and advice of solutions
  • Discuss and provide spray programs to Farmers, support in calibration of sprayers
  • Supporting the preparation of demo fields and campaigns/field days for new products as well as commercial ones based on communicated Syngenta plan
  • Supporting Syngenta team during visits of farms, dealers, growers
  • Collecting and updating marketing info e.g. plantation areas, competitors updates, Syngenta position, NPIs, market trends, new segments,

 

Overarching accountabilities

  • Align and share information and activities across CPD Team and Marketing Team of Iran
  • Acts as an active member of monthly Sales and Operations Meeting (SOP)
  • Ensures compliance with Business Area commercial policy, local legislation and competition law.

Defends and promotes the image of Syngenta and represents Syngenta in a professional and competent manner.

Qualifications

Critical experience and knowledge

  • 5 years sales/technical experience
  • Strong technical expertise
  • strong understanding of customer needs, structure and business drivers
  • Bachelor Degree in Plant protection, Horticulture, Agronomy
  • Agribusiness experience: knowledge of cropping practices and crop protection products
  • Fluent in English
