Job description

Role purpose

  • Execution of research project plan assigned by Biological Operation site head
  • Lead specific project assignment which required by Vegetable R&D Quality Management and standard site operation
  • Lead the technical support team to ensure support on each research project and seamless coordination with scientist related with technical data delivery on quality on time
  • Continuously seek new way of work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Vegetable RD operation activities

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for research project activities in close collaboration with the breeding team and  operational unit
  • Ensure high level of quality standards with strict follow up of protocols and standards
  • Ensure effective use of local operational resources and infrastructure.
  • Ensure quality and quantity standards are met and aligned to customer needs
  • Ensure that all HSE and QMS  and other operational standard are met at all requirements and company standard Fully understand on Biological team strategy and project objective to deliver support on research and knowledge to improve on supporting quality.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Understanding the principle of crop breeding processes and activities related
  • At least Master Degree/ PhD. in Agriculture Science (Plant Breeding) is preferable.
  • Experienced with conventional breeding, new technology adoption in breeding will be advantage.
  • Experience 7-10 years in related field  
  • Have basic knowledge of safety and environmental, Agricultural and Agriculture Mechanics

Critical experience

  • Ability to operate effectively across multicultural environments.
  • Successful track record in leadership and management of operations.
  • Experience in Safety and environments management, crop production, Agriculture Mechanics

  • Ability to lead and unite a team.
  • Ability to inspire, coach and develop team in responsibility part.
  • Ability to think and work in complex structures and cultures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to partner with and influence stakeholders.

  • Deliver on a station quality requirement to met at all company standard and efficient structure.
  • Build effective working relationships with other function in TH R&D team.

Additional Information

  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in KhonKaen Station.
  • Must sign a Non-Compete if offered this position.
