Syngenta is currently managing the Source to Order processes utilizing Ariba on demand platform. We are looking for Team Coordinator for Ariba Procurement support in Montevideo for the Americas region.

The position report into the Procurement Operations Americas Team Manager.  The team coordinator is responsible for managing a small regional team of approximately 4-8 operational resources working on various aspects of Ariba Procurement platform operations and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the team comprising of Procurement Support, Administrator & Catalog Administration Support
  • Manage team performance, development plans and training
  • Working collaboratively with other co-ordinator - scope /size, design and implement an optimised resourcing model, that can react to demand across the Americas support requirements
  • Assist the Procurement Operations Americas Team Manager with recruitment and necessary training for new resources and continuous improvement
  • Review existing desk top procedures and operating manuals with the other coordinators and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Identify and bring to the attention of the Ariba Support Team Lead escalations that require assistance
  • Ticket and overall group analysis to provide reports or data for improvements
  • Organise and lead team connect sessions (stand up meetings, 1-2-1 sessions, idea generations, escalations to Ariba Support Team Lead & Procurement Operations Leadership team)
  • Shift co-ordination to cover America’s time zone commitment
  • Define, Implement, monitor & execute agreed SLAs for service delivery
  • Proactively identify and instigate necessary upskilling for self and team
  • Supporting requests and queries for Administrator & Catalog Administration Support

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience en tickets resolutions (Snow, Jira, etc)
  • Experience in Ariba or equivalent business application solutions (Salesforce, Coupa, Microsoft Dynamics) appreciated
  • Advanced English (mandatory) and Portuguese (desirable)
  • Experience in leading a high performing team
  • Take action to manage own personal development and encourage team members to do the same
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Intellectual curiosity and professional commitment to excellence
  • Active learner mindset with ability to adapt in a continuous changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Attention to detail, sense of urgency, work ethic
