Role purpose

  • Develops Crop supply plans for SE business in Argentina.
  • To establish and maintain relationship with key supply, production, finance & commercial partners, across the business in line with the strategic intent.
  • Responsible for inventory, balances inventory flow, estimates P&L impact.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze and follow up production & supply plans and inventory levels to efficiently supply the seeds business, maintaining Working Capital defined, minimizing Write Off and lost sales.
  • Analyze and follow up production & supply plans and inventory levels of Parents Seeds to efficiently supply the seeds business, maintaining Working Capital defined, minimizing Write Off and lost sales.
  • Ensure the Seed Production Plan process for Commercial Seeds and Parents Seeds
  • Make key analysis to support decision from the crop team for Commercial Seeds and Parents Seeds.
  • Analyze the impact in planning from supply and demand deviations
  • Ensure the availability from different demand (country and Area level)
  • Enable business optimized decision making through balanced supply-demand plans, anticipated supply constraints, analysis and counsel, the use of systems and business.

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Logistic professional, Industrial Engineer or similar with advance knowledge on planning processes and production for Seeds businesses (desirable) or other industries.
  • Financial skills related to supply chain processes.
  • Advance level of English (mandatory)
  • 4 years of experience in a supply planning environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and strategic vision skills
  • Ability to foresee future impacts on actual and potential events
  • Resilient, results-oriented and teamwork
  • Knowledge of SAP, Anaplan, PowerBI (preferably)
