Role Purpose:
Position focused on controllership, financial planning, costs management and partner with Paulina’s site middle management. 
Provide strategic finance business partner support to Site manager, Supply/Logistics team and correlated areas.
Drive forward the control and compliance agenda within the territory in accordance with Syngenta’s standards, in particular the Internal Control Framework (ICF) and the Production & Supply Financial Framework (PSFF).
Actively supporting business decision with business case, make or buy, financial statements, cost projections and anticipating supply chain operational impact.

Accountabilities:
•    Pro-actively drive and deliver increased transparency and business insight to the territory production financial performance. Provide support and challenge to the Territory Production Team through insightful business analysis in order to facilitate the delivery of excellent business and financial results;
•    Pro-actively drive and coordinate key financial analysis (business delivery tracking, latest outlooks / estimates, business case, budgets, etc.) in accordance with global procedures and deadlines. Ensure continuity and accuracy in the reporting of monthly results, development of latest outlook and tracking of business delivery;
•    Actively participate in the Supply/Logistics Finance month-end-close review meetings, highlighting variances against forecast and follow up actions to mitigate adverse variances with forward looking view;
•    Be owner of standard fixed costing process, supporting all estimates related to fixed cost, cost breakdown and detailed cost analysis. Coordinate fixed standard cost process with Supply/Logistics areas to meet deadlines and achieve high quality of assumptions and inputs;
•    Drive Capital expenditure analysis and financial business case calculating investment KPIs for decision making. Challenge assumptions in order to connect financial business case with E2E view of business, guiding best decision for Syngenta;
•    Develop deep business understanding (manufacturing processes), continuously look for ways to financial improvements through production processes (for instance reporting/KPI/dashboard) acting as ambassador of Supply/Logistics savings around three Latin America production sites.
 


Qualifications

Qualifications:
Essential for this position:
•    Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or any other correlated with;
•    Experience in Controllership and FP&A activities;
•    Previous experience in Manufacturing, Supply and Logistics – Finance Controlling;
•    SOX and Financial Compliance; 
•    Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to work with all levels of the organization;
•    Experience in influencing stakeholders to adopt and align relevant finance and manufacturing procedures and policies;
•    Intermediate level English;
•    Good knowledge of SAP and Excel;
•    Ability to work with deadlines and time pressure;
•    Ability to pay attention to detail while understanding and driving the bigger strategic picture;
•    Logical thinking to define the best assumptions based on business reality;
•    Team player, proactive, oriented to new technologies.
 

Desarible:
•    Knowledge in Spanish;
•    Knowledge of analytics tools: Power BI, SAC and/or Qlik Sense.
