  • Oversees critical aspects of the supply chain, including forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, planning production activities, and ensuring timely access to raw materials by collaborating with suppliers
  • Optimizing operations by identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supply chain risks, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. This includes maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams, senior management, and country as well as regional stakeholders to align supply plans with business objectives

Accountabilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast product demand based on market trends, historical data, and customer inputs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
  • Production Planning: Plan and schedule production activities to ensure an adequate supply of products while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Supplier Management: Coordinate with Procurement team to ensure a consistent and timely supply of raw materials and components.
  • Capacity Planning: Collaborate with Production team in assessing manufacturing capacities and anticipating potential bottlenecks, making recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
  • Lead Time Management: Monitor lead times for both procurement and production to minimize delays in product availability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in the availability of key materials or transportation issues.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and software to analyze supply chain metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to align supply plans with company objectives.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the handling and transportation of agrochemical products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek process improvements and efficiency gains in the supply chain operations.
  • Communication: Communicate supply chain performance, issues, and plans to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and implement contingency plans for supply disruptions or emergencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the supply chain process.

Qualifications

  • Supply Chain Experience:  8+ years of experience in supply chain management roles, with a track record of success in planning.
  • Agrochemical Industry: Knowledge of the agrochemical sector, including product types, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
  • ERP Systems: Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for supply chain management, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, including team supervision.
  • Problem-Solving: A history of addressing supply chain challenges, finding solutions, and implementing process improvements.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management to oversee supply chain initiatives and improvements.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated capability in identifying and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure continuity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams, senior management, and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Experience ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Change Management: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and lead teams through organizational
