  • Ensure that the company goals are achieved with low inventory levels, ensuring the desired level of service through the execution of medium-term production planning (MPS). Control inventory levels of finished products, manage stock policy, and optimize working capital to deliver business objectives.
  • It will be the focal point for marketing, local production, customer units, and the upstream production network.
  • Manage supply constraints in terms of active ingredient allocations and production capacity constraints that affect local supply. Leading the decision-making process in line with business strategy.
  • Perform material distribution planning for satellite CDs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Operate monthly Supply Planning cycle, considering the evaluation of Unconstrained Forecast (UF) and Constrain Forecast (CF);
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders to track projects and take decisions;
  • Ensure the alignment of all supply chain areas (inbound and outbound logistics, foreign trade, purchasing, regional planning) and production (asset planners) around your production, import and transfers plan;
  • Be the link between commercial and marketing besides all other supply and production areas;
  • Active support to the Budget and LO process related to the materials under responsibility, connected to Syngenta’s and Customer’s needs, balancing costs, risks, and opportunities, while maintaining the expected level of service;
  • Manage the blocked inventory and Slow No-mover materials under responsibility, Controlling the quality of stocks and sales forecast;
  • Lead the local decision-making process to manage supply constraints, aligning prioritization with the portfolio's market strategy and Supply Sources (Paulínia and Kubix Sites, Tollers, and supply from other regions);
  • Manage inventory projections for finished products and definition of safety stocks, supporting scenario planning and calculations of required capacities in the supply chain;

Qualifications

  • Capability to operate ERP systems like SAP APO, SAP IBP, and SAP Foundation;
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply Planning procedures and processes and solid knowledge of external trends and best practices;
  • Proficient at using Excel (e.g.: creating pivot tables, graphs, etc.)
  • Leadership of projects defining a clear scope, key deliverables, and timeline that is communicated regularly to stakeholders;
  • Analytical and mathematical skills; uses Excel, Qlik Sense, Power B.I Spreadsheets to support their requirements;
  • Critical thinking for making decisions;
  • Graduated Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economist and co-related graduations;
  • Specialization in Supply Planning or similar;
  • Desired MBA and or post-graduation;
  • Advanced level of English, Desirable Spanish.
