Soniva Business Development Officer

Role Purpose 

• One of the goals is to establish a solid relationship with channel partners within the specified area, accounting for 20% of the overall objective.
• Develop product portfolios, strategies, and business plans tailored to the target market accounting for 20% of the overall project.
• Develop and carry out trial plans that include a clear conclusion regarding product advancement and product proposition, achieving a 50% success rate.
• Collect Market Intelligence & Insights, provide with the right market information(10%)

Accountabilities

• Develop marketing programs and channel campaigns for the assigned area that align with Soniva Vegetables Seeds' strategy for target markets, with the goal of maximizing sales and growth potential.
• We will conduct an analysis of the area to identify potential opportunities and allocate resources to enhance Soniva Veg Seeds market share and meet our objectives.
• To speed up the launch of new products, we conduct and oversee commercial demonstrations for both new and existing products.
• It is important to work closely with the demand creation team to ensure that resources are deployed effectively and that campaign plans are executed successfully in order to meet consumption targets in the designated areas.
• Please provide sales forecasts for each quarter and ensure that you offer prompt and precise feedback on market trends, channel insights, and grower feedback.

Essential Experience:

• Strong product development background with good knowledge of channel management, crops, crop protection products, seeds and competition.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture are preferred, but those with 5 years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• General trends in agriculture, including customer and competitor activity.
• In depth knowledge of Soniva’s and competitor’s products and offers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 year experience within sales or marketing, preferably in vegetable seeds.

• It would be advantageous to possess proficient English language abilities.
• Willing to travel extensively to meet with customers and demand creation leads
