Role Purpose:

  • Manage social media accounts and communities. This includes scheduling, publishing, moderating, and responding to messages, comments, and reviews. Plan and execute strategies to build brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute strategies to build brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
  • Research and analyse industry trends, audience behaviours, and competitor insights.
  • Create and curate high-quality content in various formats leveraging tools like Canva. These include images, videos, infographics etc that align with the brand's voice.
  • Collaborate with field team & key partners or subject-matter experts to optimize content that resonates with the audience.
  • Manage social media accounts and communities. This includes scheduling, publishing, moderating, and responding to messages, comments, and reviews.
  • Manage paid campaigns to maximize visibility and reach new audiences.
  • Analyse and report social media performance metrics and insights.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in the social media landscape. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide leadership and guidance when necessary.
  • Engage with influencers, partners, or brand ambassadors to amplify content reach.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Competencies

  • A degree in communication, marketing, or related field.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing or social media
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube
  • Creative thinking: Developing innovative and creative campaigns ideas that engage customers and differentiate the brand from competitors. 
  • Know-how in web designing/Canva and publishing
  • Analytical skills & understanding of social media KPI and metrics.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
  • Excellent time management skills.
