  • Lead the Technical and AgTech Services implementation for the New Farming Ecosystem, enabling the efficiency and yield for the farmer.
  • Drive the development and execution of Smart Ag end-to-end programs protocols that help improve yield, consistency, quality with residue compliant outputs
  • Lead and develop recommendation on the soil health analysis and sustainable farming practices that help improve the soil quality and provide safer food
  • Be the technical point of contact for farmers and country external partners
  • Evaluate and validate new solutions opportunities and new technologies from external stakeholders with a focus on value chain and consumer connect partners
  • Be key point of contact with food chain companies
  • Help train Knowledge transfer to teams that will enable the above
  • Closely collaborate with Business Sustainability team and food company sustainability leads to develop and implement sustainable agricultural concepts and business models
  • Push the boundaries of mindsets towards the interest of farmers being at the center and enabling them to deliver the priorities of food companies and consumers
  • Be an inspiration to the organization to elevate CENTRIGO’s purpose (farmer-centricity, modernizing agriculture, soil health, healthier and safer food)

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the team that will help deliver quality output produce for food companies, by managing farmers and farms
  • Lead a team that will monitor farms and farmers to adhere the protocols and quality output commitments for the pre aligned quantities
  • Implementation of techno-commercial offerings and services, integrating and synchronizing with internal and external partners (Smart Ag programs).
  • Understand the real needs of food companies and consumers, and work with value chain partners to customize end-to-end protocols
  • Set-up direction and lead country SmartAg teams regarding segment-specific solutions, co-creation and implementation of Smart protocols with value chain companies to deliver quality supply, traceability, aligned with ESG commitments including GHG emissions
  • Help design end to end protocols (soil, fertilizer, seed, CP) that enable better yield and quality output
  • Map, assess and establish collaboration with key External Stakeholders to fulfil our portfolio/services gaps
  • Support marketing activities by providing insights, feedback and technical guidance
  • Implement and support Digital Ag Strategy (tracking of protocol adherence digitally, use of weather alerts, remote sensors and satellite imaging, farm data management, forecasting models)

Qualifications

Essentials Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Science or in a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Technical and/or Technical Commercial in the Agribusiness area (practical experience in crop protection, agronomy, digital agri-technologies)
  • Experience with a value chain company leading a technical/agronomy team
  • Has experience in agri operations, procurement and supply chain
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and build impactful relationships
  • Understanding of Digital in Agtech
  • Understanding of Agribusiness strategies, trends and of the principles of value creation for growers.
