Site Security Specialist

As a Site Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent application of the Site Security program globally to mitigate threats and risks. You will monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of Site Security solutions and be proactive and a catalyst for new and innovative thinking around Site Security within Syngenta Group. You will support the Site Security Program Lead in re-evaluating/upgrading the internal Site Security strategy and separate Site Security tasks.

• Link with local Security Managers to implement the Site Security Program & tasks in country/region
• Ensure that internal/external communication/awareness/collaboration is at the right performance level
• Support security governance (CoP, Processes, and Tools) to ensure continuous improvement
• Report program performance to Program Lead and address improvements/gaps
• Ensure site security assessment database is utilized (globally) and upgrade usability/user friendliness
• Collaborate with Site Maturity Model Team to support upgrading sites’ capability level
• Maintain, develop, and implement site security training for Security Professionals and critical functions
• Engage and implement Germplasm Value Preservation (GVP) training for Security Professionals as a catalyst within country/regions
• Support Site Security Program Lead and Region Europe in performing necessary 360° assessments
• Where required, establish, implement, and collaborate with local law enforcement
• Active member of Europe Security Team and global Security Professional Network (SPN)
• Engage actively in cross-functional projects focusing on on-site/site security topics
• Support critical events by providing security support to organizational and event management team

You will be a great fit if you have:

• BSc/MSc degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as part of Corporate Security or within equivalent Security field
• Fluent English communication skills
• Experience in site security aspects and up-to-date technical knowledge
• Experience in engagement with multiple management levels across technical users and business units
• Ability to work well and deliver under pressure
• Team player attitude
• Excellence in planning and execution
• Strong Project Management skills
