About This Job:
• Establish and support HSE&S (Health Safety Environment & Security) services for different sites of Field Operations in Pangasinan and other associated sites.
• Support and advise line managers of diverse functions to provide and maintain legal compliance and license to operate (internal as external)
• Assess, implement and monitor Field Operations compliance to Fair Labor Association guidelines and provide improvement strategies for continual improvement
• Provide support for the Country HSES Committee

Accountabilities:
• Establish, provide and maintain support in HSE&S services on the field operations
• Provide assistance to Field Operations local management and site management in all HSE&S matters
• Control and assure compliance with Syngenta standards, local standards and laws
• Leading and facilitating the HSES and FLA assurance process
• Develop and implement actions and activities leading to increased safety and security on field operations (e.g. development of standards and procedures)
• Relation with authorities regarding HSE&S belongs incl. external reporting
• Provide consolidated internal reporting (key figures, assurance process, monthly reporting of HSE performance on the field)
• Implementation of Syngenta COP of Field HSES
• Coordination with other FLA-accredited countries for reporting FLA compliance


Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Essential Knowledge & Experience:
• Sound understanding of the key HSE issues in development and manufacturing
• Chemical, technical and environmental knowledge and associated risks
• Experience in development and manufacturing
• Good communication skills (e.g. influencing, articulate, leadership)

Critical knowledge
• Experience in management and implementation of HSE&S management systems
• Deep knowledge of all HSE aspects occurring by development and manufacturing activities in order to support line management
• Leadership and influencing skills

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities:
• Chemical and technical knowledge and associated risks
• Management and implementation of HSE&S management systems
• Strong influencing skills
• Quick in learning, analyzing situation and making own opinion, gain commitment
• Ability to identify issues, see opportunity and implement appropriate measures
• Integrity and openness, behave consistently, demonstrate support for others
• Experience of working in a team environment
• Experience of working across functions, both internally and externally
