Senior Project Engineer

To provide project and programme management to a range of capital and revenue projects to ensure all relevant HSE, finance and business requirements are delivered.

To manage aspects of the design service to the site to ensure quality of service, security of data and effectiveness.

• The job holder must possess an in-depth knowledge of control / electrical engineering functionality, preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment gained during work experience involving design, fabrication, installation, maintenance & testing of control / electrical systems.
• The job holder must have experience of working within an engineering project environment including project management or project engineering of a variety of projects through the project process.
• Experience of managing contracts and resources, controlling budgets and understanding financial tools and analysis.
• Technical education to degree level or equivalent relevant experience in specialist control, instrumentation, or electrical subject. (Knowledge of chemical manufacturing technologies an advantage).
• Chartered Engineer or ability to progress towards Chartership with an appropriate professional body.
• Project management and engineering methodology covering option development and evaluation, definition, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Knowledge and application of reliability and / or lean concepts an advantage.
