Senior Market Development Officer

Accountabilities

• Develop effective partnership / alliances with all level of the value chain (farmers, key influences, retailers, dealers etc) to maximize market coverage and customers access, and to generate optimum sales revenue.
• Product Complain Handling Management
• Work closely with technical support team to ensure product and crop knowledge.
• Building good relationship with channel partners, growers and other stake holders to keep sustainable business and find out new business opportunities
• Ensure all demand activities are achieved as planned
• Increase productivity in demand creation.
• Coordinate and plan with Sales team for effective implementation of demand creation activities to align with sales strategy, plan and crop season.
• In-depth understanding and analyze grower practices and characters in assigned areas

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years experience within sales or marketing, preferably in crop protection or agricultural businesses
• Strong sales background with good knowledge of channel management, crops, crop protection products, seeds and competition. 
• General trends in agriculture, including customer and competitor activity. 
• In depth knowledge of Syngenta’s and competitor’s products and offers.   
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced supervisory skill is essential
• People Management skill

• Location Areas : North of Thailand 
• Willing to travel extensively to meet with customers and demand creation leads
