Role purpose

  • Manages end to end supply chain of Bulk materials/Finished goods/raw materials to ensure 100% supply assurance in line with country business. 
  • Manages finished goods/raw materials inventory and working capital to keep within target.
  • ⁠Aggregate production planning of local F&P Site & local Toller.
  • Creates scenarios planning through systems and organizational structures into actions.
  • Leverages the country team of Supply Planners by ensuring right tools & capability development.
  • Drive NPI on time and smooth change of source (Active ingredients/Bulk).
  • Drives the link of mid-term operational plans with long term strategies.
  • Exploits planning process and methodology concepts to meet future business requirements. 

Accountabilities

  • Create, maintain & monitor (as needed) balanced supply plan over the current season (up to 12 month horizon). Work with Global Planner (GP) and Regional Planners (RP) to ensure appropriate balance between manufacturing responsiveness, cost efficiency and inventory.
  • Work closely with Production & Supply Head to facilitate the overall functioning of the department & drive & execute strategic agenda.
  • Manage the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting within the Country.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Country/ Global supply & production planners to enable transparency and responsiveness.  Be the key operational contact for Country.
  • Lead a team of supply planners to facilitate resources & leverage resources for optimization supply operation.
  • Ensure the team's capability to drive balanced plans and provide visibility to enable the business to maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Leading new product related supply planning with Siting/QA/Productions/Region/Global when applicable.
  • Aggregate production planning of local F&P Site & local Toller.
  • Review requirements in SAP/SAP APO for assigned portfolio/AIs and ensure that it is up to date. Follow up with IMCs on purchase orders/ production orders for finished packs/ Intermediate.  
  • Ensure the optimization of inventory of components and formulated bulks across Country to minimize working capital.
  • Review of SAP master data periodically and ensure timely update of changes, including efficient introduction and removal of products (SKUs) according to the Range Management Process.
  • Periodic review of various planning process and master data KPIs.
  • Work as team member for various global/regional initiatives for planning process & system improvements.
  • Co-ordinate Budget and Financial Plan preparation (ensuring realism & consistency) based on thorough assessments of forecast, economics, products, opportunities and resources.
  • Optimizes operational choices through deep understanding of the systems landscape and organization structure.
  • Drive Supply Chain Projects.

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge, Education & Experience

  • Graduate in Science or Bachelor in Engineering (BE) with MBA or PG in Supply chain Management
  • At least 10-12 years exposure in a Supply Chain and/or Planning environment
  • 5+ years of experience managing / working closely cross functional teams in Supply & Production Planning, Procurement, Logistics, HSES, Quality, Demand Management & Customer Service preferably, in a multinational organization.
  • Experience of managing the key interfaces within a Supply Chain
  • Planning parameters, master data management and data integrity
  • MRPII principles
