You will be part of the Global Invoice to Pay (I2P) team and manage a team of I2P Business Partners for the EMEA region. You will also have the responsibility to manage the EMEA I2P service desk area and ensure strategic alignments to integrate service desk roles with Business Partnering for the region. You will be working together with the other regional Business Partner and Operations Leads to identify opportunities and improve Syngenta’s I2P function to be best in class amongst peer groups.

As a Senior Invoice to Pay Manager (EMEA Business Partnering), your role purpose is:

  • To ensure the seamless Invoice to Pay service delivery to Syngenta Vendors and internal regional stakeholders i.e. Business Finance, Commercial Teams, Procurement and end users. You will also ensure vendor satisfaction with on-time and accurate payment performance to the payables.
  • To support the I2P Strategy lead and end to end lead in drafting, driving and delivering the strategy for EAME region. Also, needs to manage the budget of the process in the Business Partnering space along with service desk ownership.
  • To ensure seamless engagement and interaction with procurement, commercial, corporate and finance stakeholders. Make a significant impact on business performance by driving and supporting working capital improvements.
  • Keep a thorough view of the Source to Pay function and challenge the status quo, identify improvement opportunities, and demand collaboration to bring a highly effective end to end process.
  • Challenge the resource allocation within the Business Partnering space as well as project allocation, pro-actively raising issues and driving resolutions.
  • To actively engage with regional stakeholders, provide key process statistics, act as a process ambassador, and listen to act on local/regional requirements.
  • To develop and retain a highly motivated team of I2P Business Partners and ServiceDesk team members in the region and ensure that their performance reviews to continue building a highly competitive and successful team for the service delivery and value addition to the business.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the Finance process with a focus on the Global Procure to Pay / Source to Pay / Invoice to Pay domain and an excellent understanding of shared services set up, delivery and process transformation
  • Demonstrates deep functional Finance shared services expertise and thorough experience in Global Accounts Payable / Invoice to Pay or Source to Pay as a centralized function
  • Proven ability to lead teams through process improvements and implementation of standardized processes throughout large organizations
  • Experience of proactive initiatives, using good judgment to prioritize issues and the ability to work with minimal direction
  • Strong Digital Awareness and IT Innovation skillset to understand new technologies and drive the solutions for I2P improvements
  • Motivated self-starter with strong decision making, communication, organization, people management and multi-tasking abilities.
