About the Roles: 

We are looking for experienced and talented formulation and colloid scientists with the drive, ambition, and creativity to develop new products and new formulation technologies.

  You will join our group as a technical specialist where you will apply your skills and experience to:

  • Collaborate internally and externally to identify, invent & develop innovative technologies and generate fundamental scientific understanding
  • Lead & conduct scientific programmes that deliver new product technologies to the market
  • Connect closely with our commercial partners to ensure we understand and deliver solutions that meet our customers’ needs
  • Increase our internal capabilities through training and mentoring, technical advocacy and innovation.

Qualifications

Critical Experience Required

  • A deep understanding of the formulation, fluid or colloid science relevant to the design and characterisation of liquid and solid products, gained through academic and/or relevant industrial experience.
  • Significant experience formulating products for crop protection, additives & lubricants, pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer products or similar
  • A strong track record of technical leadership, collaboration and delivery.
  • Experience in developing the scientific capabilities of their team or group.
  • As safety is our first priority, it goes without saying that you must have experience of working independently and safely in a chemical lab environment.

Personal Attributes Needed   

  • Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems and an enthusiasm for innovation and product delivery.
  • An effective teamworker, networker and communicator acrosss both technical and commercial functions.
