Opportunity Description: 
To be procurement professional team who achieves the highest level of contribution to profit, growth, and competitive advantage by demonstrable best in class procurement performance and by leveraging Syngenta’s global scale and skills in all areas of spend. Ensure common strategies, standards and the establishment of a regional organization with global alignment.
•    Ensure total control of spend (around 20$MM) through proper commercial strategies for Brazil.
•    Be the Procurement representative in all Commercial Units, Functions and Project Teams for Indirect Procurement categories.
•    Ensure regulatory compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
•    Manage the categories spend of ensuring best possible value creation;
•    Based in Sao Paulo will be and acts as an Ambassador of the Procurement organization in Brazil;
•    Supports the management of strategic sourcing and relationships, including negotiation of major contracts and agreements, contract performance, service delivery, risk and spend analysis, demand consolidation, etc;
•    Development and implementation of category sourcing strategies based on long term objectives, according with Syngenta methodologies;
•    Manage the risks associated with strategic and critical suppliers;
•    Build and provide expert market knowledge for supply markets;
•    Develop SRM and risk programs appropriate to the requirements of the category and the region.
 


Qualificações

Requiriments:
•    Bachelor’s degree in business Marketing, Administration, Economics, Engineering or related areas;
•    Advanced English;
•    Business experience in Procurement Functions;
•    Business experience in Indirect Procurement (e.g: Marketing, Services, Travel Agencies, Events, etc.);
•    Knowledge in indirect procurement categories is mandatory;
•    Knowledge in market trends;
•    Relationship with suppliers and internal customers;
•    Business Case preparation, project management;
•    Knowledge in Purchasing Processes and Methodologies;
•    Advanced Excel and Power Point Skills;
•    Prepare RFP's, e-Auctions and Presentations with detailed analysis of the bidding processes.

Desirable:
•    Knowledge in Spanish; 
•    Post-graduation, Master’s degree or MBA is desirable
•    Knowledge of ARIBA and SAP systems
