The Challenge
You'll be joining a multicultural team of 8 colleagues in the Purity & Analytical lab. As a Senior Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and purity of our vegetable seeds. You'll conduct cutting-edge genetic and analytical tests, lead exciting projects, and collaborate with experts across our global organization. Your main responsibilities are:
- Perform advanced laboratory tests using flow cytometry, liquid chromatography, and molecular marker analysis
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative
- Lead and support team projects, aimed at continuous improvements and implementation of new methods
- Provide technical expertise and training to team members
- Analyse complex data and perform root cause analysis to contribute to data-driven decision making
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Participate in international quality control initiatives and proficiency testing

Seeds Quality Control Specialist
Type: Fulltime, 38 hours per week

Qualifications
Your Profile
- MSc in plant genetics, biotechnology, plant breeding, biochemistry, or related field
- OR BSc/HBO in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in laboratory settings, preferably with flow cytometry and HPLC/UPLC techniques
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent data analysis abilities and proficiency with Excel (additional data tools a plus!)
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a nice bonus)
