HSE:

  • Follow up Syngenta HSE and compliance policy
  • Field and Toller HSE assessment and improvement recommendations

Product quality and reliability:

Field capacity development for 5 years plan:

  • Corn grower strategies consultation for existing production locations, retain and expansion
  • Identified potential corn production new locations for field capacity, resources, and organization development
  • OPV rice strategies development

Toller review and recommendations 5 years plan:

  • Review optimum planting and harvesting match with drying capacity 2022/2023
  • Review Toller capacity including drying, shelling, cleaning, gravity, treating and packing and improvement recommendation

Productivity improvement:

Consult to develop field production yield improvement:

  • Planting ratio, plant spacing, female and male population, etc.,
  • Mechanization for planting, drip irrigation, etc.,
  • New initiatives ideas for yield and quality improvement

Toller productivity and quality improvement plan and recommendation

Sustainability and CSR projects:

  • Initiatives for sustainability projects including sustaining field capacity driven by some productivity projects recommendation such as Energy (renewable & efficiency), water and fertilizer utilization, etc.,

People development:

Field and Toller HSE best practices sharing

GM Corn production training to seeds operation, SPR and quality

  • Production management system, crop protection, herbicide spraying, harvesting, wet ear delivery, etc.,
  • Field quality control

Identified VN Seeds P&S lead successor by not later than June 2023

Plant processing training to seeds operation, SPR and quality

  • Seeds processing training (receiving, conditioning, treating, packing handlining and storage)
  • Toller seeds quality control and recommendation

Consult for Seeds operation and quality team collaboration improvement

 


Qualifications

Critical knowledge

  • Master or bachelor’s degree (Agriculture Engineering or Agronomic discipline preferred)
  • Functional knowledge of seed production, production countries and vendor
  • Language (site or country) plus English

Critical experience

  • 5 years’ experience in Seed production and or production process in agriculture
  • 5 years’ experience in Engineering and Seed processing
  • Experience in working in cross functional teams and a matrix organization
  • Working relationships with universities and extension services for crop production enhancement

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • High level of broad technical skill related to crop production.
  • High level of broad technical skill in Engineering and Seed processing
  • Result oriented and customer focused
  • Strong communication and collaboration skill.
  • Cross cultural awareness.
  • Strong drive to successfully complete projects
