Seeds Processing Specialist

• Ethics, HSE, GSPP and QM Commitment and accountability.  Perform all tasks in a compliant manner with company safety policies, including completing all required training sessions and attending local safety meetings.
• Work with local activities to ensure efficient delivery of SD Vegetables portfolio of activities: use of space, period, resources in alignment with veg strategy.
• Manage the processing and seeds management (Reception of seeds & traceability/Planning& fruits reception & Extraction/Seeds treatments/Packaging and storage management …)
• Implementation of Mint Procedures and rules
• Data collection and data integration in IT systems (MINT/Teams/Smartsheet/VEGA/Enablon and Operations files.
• Take responsibility to follow the seed shipment protocol
• Follow the seed shipment protocol in coordination with seed shipment coordinators and seed shipment specialists.
• Establish good collaboration with Breeders, Assistant Breeders, BO specialists
• Good coordination with administrative teams to deliver the shipment on times
• Effectively communicate with partners: ONSSA/Labs…and peers, coordinators to solve any issues on the seeds requirements and deliveries.
• Depth analysis, solve complex problems and provide the solutions
• Data driven activities monitoring and provide improvement plan and anticipating possible risk related.
• Annual target instructions with the line manager or specific project
• Technical ,administration and people capabilities.
• Manage information, effective communication.
• Lean management process adopted and drive .

• Seed Preparations:

• Take responsability to follow the seed perparation protocol .
• Follow the seed preparation in coordination with others seed shipment
• Cordinators and shipment specialist .
• Secure the traceability of the process. Direct contact with internal&External Shipment team.
• Establish good collaboration with  Beeders,Assistant Breeders and BO spisialist for seed shipment preparation .
• Good coordination with Logistic Administrative Assistant To deliver the shipment on times.

 Critical Knowledge: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required ( 5 years experience)

Critical Experience: 

            Experience and knowledge of operational processes.

•  Work with VEGA Tool and resources.
•  Experience in agriculture and Data Management
• People management experience to effectively lead team of permanent and temporary employees.
• Experience in managing operational processes including management of infrastructure and relevant resources.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence (LSS)
• Demonstrated ability to identify critical issues and engage with cross functional stakeholders to solve problems in timely manner

•  MS Office tools and digital fluency to effectively capture data and manage the Trials using appropriate IT systems.
