Role purpose
•QMS management for Seeds R&D
•Regulatory support, Variety registration management:  PBR, VL, Table 8
•Pre- Breeding support
•Import & export co-ordination

Accountabilities
•Close communication with cross functioning internal departments, third party importer/exporters; DALRRD; clearance and customs agencies;
•Evaluate and apply all new customs-related requirements on an ongoing basis;
•Obtain all relevant certification documents;
•Prepare documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures;
•Assist to obtain all required import permits and export licenses for all processes;
•Check and coordinate with departments to establish an efficient import/export classification and prepare a shipping schedule;
•Administer all freight logistics;
•Provide an optimal level of support and resolve all shipment issues;
•Track all import shipments and export shipments on weekly basis and forward weekly updates to relevant departments;
•Evaluate all items for import and ensure accuracy in all values and collaborate with customs brokers to provide clearance of all imports and maintain required documents;
•Prepare all export documentation and relevant certificates of conformance and other certificates that will be required by departments and destination customs authorities;
•Co-ordinate all pre-shipment inspections of all outgoing cargo;
•Perform audits on all import and export files regularly;
•Perform all record-keeping processes and maintain records of all entries and interactive database internally
•Monitor and provide a response to all customs inquiries and requests and obtain required product certifications for all export and import products for customs clearance;
•Review invoicing and related documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly;
•Execute different courses of action in general by instructions given by functioning departments.
•Breeding support:  Execute breeding projects in the tunnel and general tunnel management
•Manage R&D quality documents in Reliance/ Quality Management System 
•Creating work instructions, procedures, training and auditing responsibilities


Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

Critical qualification
•A qualification in Agriculture or equivalent
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
•Computer literacy 
•Highly proficient in written and verbal English
•Import and export experience desirable 
•Multinational exposure advantageous

Critical knowledge & Experience
•Technical understanding of Social Network design and functionality
•Office Administration
•Fully bilingual 
•Advanced Excel and Powerpoint
