Support Pakistan's strategic business growth plan through customer support, equipment strategy, training, and demand creation guidance.

Support Seedcare initiatives in country and support key stakeholders. E.g. Store in Store, Equipment Strategy, Training, etc.

Leverage SCI Emerging Markets know-how and execute locally; Strategically deploy SCI services to key partners/customers

Accountabilities

  • Execute equipment strategy with support from SCI Emerging Markets. Focus on the large grower segment and local seed companies (large mobile treater concept) as well as support downstream concepts such as Gepetto treaters.
  • Implement training strategy with local stakeholders about Seedcare Institute Product Marketing tools (physical and digital). Leverage SCI Network's e-learning footprint and support the country in building a content library for Pakistan users.
  • Support TS team on execution of Store in Store concept and demo materials. Support local teams with internal training, concept continuation and adaptation, and KPI’s on the usage of demo tools.
  • Support Centrigo expansion and strategic collaborations with Seedcare. Provide specific training and leverage our physical and digital demand generation tools as well as training capacity.
  • Support the development of local tools for demand generations for NPIs such as Epivio, Fortenza, Vibrance Integral, etc. Support and create NPI’s demonstration kits in partnership with TS and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Seedcare Seed Safety trials in the Quality Lab located in Multan. Support with treating and establishing treatment protocols for NPIs.
  • Collect and inform SCI Singapore on market trends, opportunities, competitor moves, etc.

Critical Success Factors & Key Challenges

  • Collaborate with Technical Support (TS) Team
  • Organizational understanding of application technology is limited and held by a limited number of employees. This role must expand both the base of application technology and the breadth of understanding in the organization.
  • Building strong working relationship with stakeholders to gain buy-in for the Seedcare institute service strategy and enable core competencies with the sales teams for implementing treating strategies.
  • Develop keen understanding and ways of working with commercial, key account and retail seed treatment locations to provide value-added services through the Seedcare Institute.

 


Qualifications

Critical knowledge

  • Intermediate English as second language;
  • Basic knowledge of seed and seed treatment industry is desirable.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork oriented.
  • Capacity to interact and work as part of a team. Make decisions and influence people.

Critical experience

  • Familiarity with the business scope (technology, customers, processes etc.)
  • Knowledge of seed treatment application, seed quality and formulation chemistry
  • Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
  • Availability to travel and valid drive licence for car category.
  • BS degree, preferably in Ag engineering or in a related area
  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment and plant operations
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Technical capability to design and conduct seed treatment application testing
  • Ability to transform technical recommendations in arguments and benefits for the customer
  • Ability to follow processes and conduct trials with standard methodology, and ability to interpret data to generate technical reports.
