Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico

You will be part of Seedcare team and will lead Seedcare Institute area.

Here is how this role will be critical to our business

Purpose:

Coordinate and lead the laboratory and support activities with seeds company clients, value chain clients and farmers of the benefits and support the Seedcare Institute (SCI) provided in LAN establishing complete offers of Products-Applications-Services (PAS)

Provide technical support, assistance and training to the 3 LAN regions.

Accountabilities:

• Support Seedcare teams in LAN to execute 5 years plans to address customer and business needs. Actively contributes to the delivery of unique and differentiated PAS offers (Growth Projects in conjunction with Seedcare Manager LAN).

•. Provide technical and marketing support to seeds companies (upstream) and Syngenta Seeds in the areas of: Recipe development, application equipment, quality analysis, plant team training.

• Promote the sustainable business growth of the ONFARM segment with clients of the value chain, Agribusiness and Farmers as well as the interaction and support to the sales representatives of the commercial unit (CU) through the management of internal and external training in the field.

• Train CU sales teams as well as Syngenta Seeds teams to update their knowledge related to seed treatment to enable the sale of high-quality seed treatment products.

•. Evaluates and compares Seedcare products Vs the competition in different application technologies, evaluating various aspects of quality and support of the value propositions of Seedcare products.

• Manage and secure the operating budget for local SCI activities

Qualifications

Essential for this position:

• Professional experience: At least 5 years’ experience in the part of plants and project management with experience in the part of operation of mechanical application equipment with a basic knowledge in the part of seeds treatment.

• Academic background: Engineering’s Agronomist, Chemical or similar

• Language: Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory)

• Functional skills: Project management, Communication with impact, Leading change and ambiguity, Building a culture of innovation, development of work teams and Collaboration beyond borders.

•Skills: Leadership, Collaborative spirit and passion for making things happen with a high level of interest in learning (Curiosity).

• Knowledge: Of seed production processes and seed processing. Development and management of growth projects for SeedCare in LAN. Technical leader generating value recommendations for the purchase of application equipment and methods of how to make a successful application. MS Office and SAP

Nice to have:

• Agrochemical industry experience

• Master’s degree
