ROLE PURPOSE

  • Run the Seeds Lab QC Operations
  • Update Quality results to Seeds Quality Manager
  • Customer Complaint Management, Retesting & sharing results with Manager Quality
  • Keep record of Quality Testing , Results, Customer Complaints and Non-conformities

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for implementation of SOPs in Quality Testing
  • Implement HSE standards in Seeds Testing Lab.
  • Keep Laboratory clean and implement HSE Standards in Testing Facility
  • Support  warehouse staff  in rework activities and implement Quality standards during re-work
  • Conduct inspection of new import shipments
  • Manage guard samples tagging and inventory
  • Receive Lab supplies, inspect and keep inventory and timely update Quality Manager for future procurement
  • Complete and share recurring monthly testing results in first half of each month
  • Raise NCs (Non-conformities) where applicable, participate in NCs investigations and keep record
  • Inspect Inventory in Cold store and share observations and record NCs where applicable
  • Monitor and keep record weather condition in cold store
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff for Quality related Projects and day to day operations (with Quality perspective)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture preferably (not limited to) in Seeds Science, Agronomy, PBG
  • Understanding (basic) of Seeds Quality Testing
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Presentation Skills
  • 1 – 2 years experience in Seed Quality Testing / or at least in Agriculture industry
