As part of the ERP/SAP application team you would be responsible to work with the Supply Operations to translate the needs into functional requirements which can be taken forward effectively by the functional and technical team. You should be able to lead a team of functional analysts to create the design at a level of detail which enables a developer to execute the configuration and the development in SAP.
You should have a good functional knowledge on SAP WM/MM and be able to exploit the best use of these modules to meet the business need in the most effective, efficient and sustainable way. You will drive overall leadership for the delivery of the enhancements and maintenance of the existing applications in Agile and Devops methodologies along with your team of Functional Analysts.
According to your experience, strengths and business needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:
- Lead the team of Supply Functional Analysts (internal and external ressources)
- Support the delivery of small changes as well as project under the DEVOPS structure
- Be actively involved in the user story preparation, solution conceptualization for changes as well as project implementations.
- Strengthen the functional expertise within the team and leverage the team on S4HANA
- Own incident, change delivery while working in Agile/DevOps environment
- Provide solution, design, configuration and testing, be able participate in design activities and gap analysis
- Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with IT & business stakeholders
- Support the delivery of project, by estimating the scope, efforts and project timelines and secure the delivery
- Analyze business processes including root cause analysis and technical performance optimization.
Relevant skills & experience
- Strong solution know-how in ECC & S/4 Logistics (MM, WM)
- Extended Warehouse Management and Transportation Management would be a plus
- Expertise in Configuration of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) : Warehouse structure in WM system, Basic Stock Management, Production Staging, Warehouse Movements, Put away and Picking Strategies, Storage Unit Management, Mobile Data Entry- RF, and Bar Code devices, expertise in Batch management, Storage unit management and Handling unit management
- Experience in Configuration of SAP Materials Management (MM)
- Experienced in Testing (Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Integration Testing), End User training, Final preparation, Go-Live, ABAP Debugging and project support.
- Sound understanding of Master Data, Functional and Document Data, integration between SAP & Third-Party Warehouse and Logistics (3PL) systems
- Experience/understanding of logistics processes, import/export management and manufacturing process, Intercompany & Hubbing processes.
- Be able to support and challenge the Partners (Vendors) on quotation of Change efforts, Oversee and support the development of the solution, Validate the functionality as per business needs, support testing and User training.
- Capable to lead and grow up a team of several functional experts
- Knows ITIL process & tool, exposure to SNOW/JIRA etc.
- Exposure to FIORI/low code applications.
General Experience and Prerequisites
- Has an experience on managing a team. If not the case, should demonstrate natural leadership skills and a good communication.
- Well-qualified professional with 10-12 years of experience in SAP WM, MM implementation or support preferably in Chemical/Process/Agri industries.
- A minimum of 2 full cycle SAP WM/MM implementation experience.
- Ability to drill down into technical issues, solve complex and detailed problems to support his team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills around issues, managing escalations, opportunities
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with cross domain teams at global levels.
- Ability to work under pressure & multitasking environment
- Knowledge about current & upcoming digital technologies/tools
- Able to understand lean, Agile, DevOps concepts.
- Successful in solving new challenges and gaps; to meet the business requirements
- Experience in client facing and managing outsourced partners
- A Team player with a collaborative attitude, proactive and ability to work under pressure
- Experience of working with stakeholders from multiple regions/countries
Qualifications
University undergraduate and/or advanced degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Sciences, MBA, or other relevant educational experience.
