Role Purpose

Assure the achievement of the sales targets for the assigned territory, generating on-field product demand and supporting key distributors daily.

 What will you be doing?

  • You will be responsible for the achievement of sales targets in the area assigned (Sevilla and Huelva) according to priorities agreed to by his/her manager.
  • You will be responsible to take commercial orders from customers;
  • You will monitor the respect of agreed price positioning;
  • You will be responsible for delivering specific support on integrated crop solutions to key farmers in the area directly and/or along with distributor and independent technicians.
  • You will be responsible for first-level distributor staff training on Valagro technology and solutions in collaboration with MDM.
  • You will manage the organization and execution of local commercial initiatives managing demo trials, field days, and local promotional activities, in collaboration with MDM & Sales Area Manager.
  • You will collect market information on dealers, retail locations, growers, prices, agronomical technical trends, etc. through Valagro -Syngenta internal KM and CRM systems.

Requisitos

Critical Experience:

  • At least 5 years in sales roles in the Agribusiness industry (preferably plant nutrition and/or biocontrol), interacting with both the technical and commercial staff of growers and distributors.

Critical Knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of Agronomy fundamentals & key crops in his/her area.
  • Plant nutrition, physiology and abiotic/biotic stress.
  • Territory: key distributors and opinion leaders in the area (Sevilla-Huelva).
  • Agronomical Science Bachelor’s degree.

Critical Skills:

  • Commercial and technical skills
  • Self-organization; Value proposition & demand generation; Technical training Management: Good
  • Computer skills (MS Office, etc)
  • Driving license

Desirable skills

  • English
