Into Action

In this role you are responsible for the periodical purchasing of the goods to the local, external warehouse in the UK as well as for the daily operations from order taking to delivery for sales area UK and Nordics in EAME. You monitor demand and lead times, adjust when necessary and inform about changes and bottlenecks. You will timely identify, anticipate and solve purchasing and order-related problems. Besides the responsibility of your own region, you will be supporting colleagues in the territory of North-West Europe.

The Challenge

As Replenishment Planner you are responsible for the timely purchasing on the goods to the UK warehouse and monitoring the availability of local stock. As Customer Service Representative, on the other hand, you are responsible for the complete handling of orders from this warehouse to customers in the UK and from Enkhuizen to (Northern-) Ireland and Scandinavian countries (exceptionally directly to the customers in the UK). This includes the information and communication flow and making sure all relevant data is administered properly. Additionally, you provide the shipments of seeds with the necessary export documentation to UK, if required. You act as the primary contact for order handling for customers and colleagues of Syngenta entities within your responsibility. Therefore, you are a key player for a full and satisfactory delivery in time, either to the local warehouse or to the customers. You actively communicate with various departments internally as well as with customers and affiliates to identify and correct issues in a timely manner and you know how to organize and administer your work efficiently. The purpose is that our clients are served to the best of their satisfaction, in line with our Syngenta commercial policy.


Qualifications

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, it is important that you are fluent in English and preferably comfortable in Dutch. You have a commercial focus and good analytical and planning skills. Your colleagues and customers like to work with you, and you want to take ownership. You are a strong communicator, pro-active and have a problem-solving mindset. Preferable HBO or MBO+ with relevant work experience.
