Are you ready to drive change and improvements in Planning Business processes and systems? We are seeking a proactive Business Process Consultant to work with key business stakeholders, Supply Operations Head, and Global Planning BPC to provide process leadership and expertise, challenging, supporting, and enabling business performance.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities will include:

  • Consult with key stakeholders to agree and prioritize the Project Portfolio, driving required change and improvements in Planning Business processes and systems.
  • Accountable for the delivery of Projects and Change Initiatives, ensuring successful change in systems, processes, and people.
  • Act as a key driver of the CP FPP Planning Improvement Program in EU, providing expertise to new/ongoing projects and initiatives across the region.
  • Support the future of planning and the implementation of new systems, influencing and coaching planners to further develop their capabilities.

Qualifications and required experience

  • Previous experience in business process consulting, project management, or change management within a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change initiatives to improve business processes and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively consult with key stakeholders, influence decision-making, and build consensus.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving the required change and improvements in Planning Business processes and systems.
  • Ability to coach and influence planners to enhance their understanding of planning, MRP, systems, and processes, and to further develop their capabilities.
  • Experience in supporting the implementation of new systems and providing day-to-day deskside support and system resolution.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as the Global Planning BPC and CoE, to prioritize the Project Portfolio and drive change and improvements in Planning Business processes and systems.
  • Fluency in English a must – other languages would be a benefit.

Syngenta Manchester is an international hub and home to various global business operations, ensuring growers globally have access to the right product at the right time. Located at the Towers Business Park in Didsbury, it has great transport links and easy access to local shops and restaurants. You will find a dynamic and agile working environment with a diverse and inclusive culture.

This is a hybrid contract, with a minimum 2 days per week to be worked in the office, with remote working available for the remainder of the week (for the first few months, there will be a requirement to spend up to 3 days per week onsite), however there will be instances where more time in the office is required.
